Transcript from the Divi Theme Tutorial

Go into the Divi Theme Builder and scroll down under the ‘General’ tab until you see ‘Date Format’. In the slot next to the ‘Date Format’ you’ll see the letters, MjY.

WordPress has a codex and it’s the same formatting used for coding PHP. There’s a cheat sheet with the codes on the WordPress website. I’ve provided the direct link here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Formatting_Date_and_Time

Here is an example to show you how to change the date format and use the cheat sheet:

In the ex. before we make any changes, the date shows, Aug. 15, 2016.

Copy the code you want to use off of the cheat sheet and paste it in the ‘Date Format’ slot where you saw the ‘MjY’.

Hit ‘Save Changes’ and go to your web page. Hit the ‘Refresh’ button and the way your date is displayed should be changed to the code you entered. Here it show’s that the date format changed to, Monday, August 15, 2016.
