Text Version Of This Divi WordPress Tutorial

Hey everybody, Jimi Blevins here today. I wanted to show you a really quick tutorial on something I found when I was setting up all my blog posts with these tutorials.

You notice I have my Youtube video here, which has the same image as my featured image for the blog post. So when somebody comes to one of my blog posts on the website, they see almost a double image, and I’d rather not have that.

RemoveFeaturedImageSo I looked up how to get rid of this featured image on a blog post, and I want to show you guys how to do it really quickly, it’s super easy. All we need to do is hop back into our “Dashboard.RemoveFeaturedImage2We’re going to come down here to “Divi,” and when we grab our “Theme Options,” and this is a setting that’s in the layouts right here.RemoveFeaturedImage3So we want to click on “Layout.RemoveFeaturedImage4Then right here in our “Single Post Layout” you’ll see “Place Thumbs On Posts.” If we click here and disable that, and go ahead and save our changes.RemoveFeaturedImage5We come back to the blog post, you’ll be able to see that the image is in there and that our youtube video shows up, which has the featured image in it already. That way people can get into the content of my posts a lot quicker. See the text tutorial, as well as the video tutorial.RemoveFeaturedImage6So if you’ve been looking for a way to get rid of those featured images on your blog posts, that’s how you do it with Divi. It’s super easy, super simple, and I love showing people how to do things the easiest possible way.

I hope that helps you guys out. Once again, my name is Jimi Blevins and thank you so much for watching. :) :)
